Why 8BIT?
8BIT is the core or foundation of digital. There are 8BITs in one byte of data. Computers started with 8BIT processors. Games started out at 8BITs. 1 RGB colour is made from 8BITs or data. Digital Animation was first created with 8BITs. Digital Audio started at 8BITs. 8BITs are the beginning of digital.
We were born before computers and grew up learning how to use them while they were developing them to what we know today. We learnt the basics and then we learnt how to apply it digitally. We learnt how to design before the ability to hide under digital effects. We learnt to animate and develop at its basic form and created beauty from limited resources.
We go back to basics and build, we don’t hide under effects… we use them as enhancements.
